About us
A community for secular humanists across Maryland and the D.C. area. We bring together atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, and anyone who grounds their worldview in reason, evidence, and science rather than religion.
Our members share an interest in critical thinking, human wellbeing, and building community outside of religious institutions. We host talks, group discussions, social gatherings, and volunteer events throughout the region.
Whether you are a lifelong nonbeliever or newly deconstructing, you will find open conversation and good company here. Some people come for the secular speaker series. Others come for the friendships. Many people come for both.
