The Howl at the hips hafla is a bellydance party with the Halloween theme. The beginner to advance classes will be performing as well as past performers that have supported many haflas held at the studio. Each dancer has her own unique style of dance, choreography and costume.

This is a family friendly event. Children are welcome to attend. The theme is Halloween, feel free to wear a costume or not, just come and enjoy the show. Refreshments will be available until they run out.

IN STUDIO- Beginner Bellydance Class with Typhrodisia

In the beginner 5 week, you will learn bellydance technique, combos and choreography.

In the technique section we will break down the basic muscular movements such as snake arms, up to down and down to up undulations, back to front and front to back hip figure eights, up to down and down to up hip figure eights, head slides, chest lifts and pelvic locks.

The remaining 45 minutes you will go over bellydance combo's and choreography.

*no prerequisite

*wear comfortable clothing, yoga pants, sweat pants, tank top or T shirt. You do not need to show your belly.

• gain confidence to move onto the level 1 and 2 class.

In this one hour hula class, you will learn basic hula moves and a full choreography. no props are needed for this session.
A pau ( hula skirt ) can be purchased on Amazon or at Hula supply store.
wear a black tank top or T shirt. Bring a bottle of water.

In the beginner 5 week, hour and a half technique/choreography combo class, you will learn 45 minutes of technique and 45 minutes of a full choreography. By the 5th week , you will learn a full bellydance choreography.
