Of the hundreds of flags made and carried in the Revolutionary War, only about 30 are known to survive. To mark the 250th anniversary of the beginning of the Revolutionary War, the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia presents "Banners of Liberty: An Exhibition of Original Revolutionary War Flags," the largest gathering of rare and significant flags in more than two centuries—MCHC’s own Pulaski Banner is displayed alongside more than a dozen surviving original flags. Join us for the next installment of the Wye Oak Lecture Series to learn about the process of maintaining, transporting, and researching these historic objects with R. Scott Stephenson, PhD, President & CEO of the Museum of the American Revolution.
