City of Sustainability: Introduction to Urban Gardening

Calling all urban residents with a green thumb: the Farm Alliance of Baltimore is joining the Maryland Center for History and Culture for a Thursday evening introduction to urban and community gardening! Local farmers and neighborhood growers will share resources and tips on cultivating green spaces within Baltimore City—attendees can sign up to volunteer for a local community garden, and take home a seed propagating kit. This program is free to attend, but registration is required and spaces are limited.
