Morning Choice-Nacho trail and Rockburn Loop

The Hike: Great photo-ops and changing scenery. Morning Choice-Nacho trail, is a 5.9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Ellicott City, Maryland that features beautiful wild flowers, in the spring, and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and mountain biking and is best used from April until September. miles per hour, with a break every half mile or as needed. There are a few stream crossing and an elevation of 315 feet. There are a few stream crossing so be prepared.
This moderate hike will allow you to see scenic trails along with getting the benefits of fresh air and exercise.

WHAT TO EXPECT: This is a hike for those who enjoy hiking and the outdoors. Be prepared as you will be expected to maintain a 2- 2.5 mph pace and navigate through stream crossings at times, with a break every half mile or as needed. .
SUGGESTED ATTIRE: Long cargo pants,hiking shoes, boots are highly recommended. Also, wear wool socks as they help with moisture control, and the prevention of blisters.
· WHERE TO MEET: We will be meeting at the Morning Choice Trailhead at 5568 Landing Rd, Elkridge, MD 21075

· RSVP COMMON COURTESY: Only RSVP if you are a 100% serious about participating. Spaces are limited and when you cancel less than 48 hours in advance, you limit your fellow aspiring hikers, in “waitlist” status the potential to participate!

**DOGS:**Please inquire when the hike is announced.

· **ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:**Please understand that we move as a unit. Do not move ahead of the hike leader, as we will not be moving at your pace or providing you directions to guide you. If you find the hiking pace to be insufficient, please feel free to separate from the group and continue on your own.

· RSVP PROTOCOL: Do not show up for a hike unless your “RSVP” is confirmed or you will be turned away. There are others in the queue who may be ahead of you and it is unfair to them when you break order.

· PACE: Please do not move ahead of the hike leader, we will not be providing turn by turn directions for you or forced to keep up with your pace. If the group is moving to slow feel free to leave the unit to move out on your own.

· MEMBER STATUS: To participate in the hike, you must display a recent member photo on your profile.

· Be Prompt: Please depart your residence in enough time to arrive promptly. We will be departing at the prescribed time,and are unable to wait if you are late. We must be considerate of other people’s time.
