September 11th Memorial Lights in New York

Here is your chance to shoot the September 11th Memorial Lights over the city that never sleeps. We will meet in Brooklyn Saturday evening to shoot the Manhattan skyline with the lights displayed over the city from the Sticks. This location gets crowded on Sept 11th so we must arrive early to stake out our real estate. Sunset is at 7:11p. Nothing more touching than to view the memorial lights which shine from sunset to sunrise the next morning. Once everyone gets their shots at this location we can explore and shoot along the shore line and Dumbo. All shoot locations are within walking distance from the Sticks. Bring a DSLR camera, wide lens, a sturdy tripod, and a cable release. ND filters are optional for long exposures before it gets dark. Specific details on the meeting location will be sent to those registered. Attendees are responsible for transportation to the city and meeting location, lodging, parking, and additional expenses. In case of bad weather I will cancel in advance. However, this is a one night only event so unless it's a hurricane, or the event is cancelled by NYC it will be a rain or shine event.
