POINTS-OF-INTEREST - Kinder Farm Park is named for the German immigrant family’s farm where they produced fruits and vegetables to be sold in the area. The KFP Visitors Center has displays of items from early farm life in Anne Arundel County. The Kinder Farmhouse is open for tours today and the Tobacco Barn Museum is open for a self-guided tour. Antique tractors and a working sawmill are also in the farm complex area. The 4-H livestock club is responsible for the farm animals you see as you walk the event. Take some time and enjoy the farm exhibits. Several modern playgrounds for kids of all ages are located in the park.
