Rio, Crown, Malcolm King Park Walk Gaithersburg, MD

The Seneca Valley Sugarloafers Volksmarch Club is sponsoring the Rio, Crown, Malcolm King Park Walk on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Both the 5km and 10km trails are rated 2A and are mostly on sidewalks and macadam surfaces. There is one hill in Malcolm King Park. Three separate walks range from a natural wooded area, a walk around a local lake, an open area shopping center with restaurants and a new and large-scale transit-oriented community.

All Walkers over 12 years pay the $4 participation fee. Walkers 12 and under are free at all events sponsored by the Seneca Valley Sugarloafers. Restrooms and water are available near the Start/Finish point. Pets are allowed but must be kept leashed at all times and owners must clean up after their pets.
