AI Roundtable: Legal AI Opportunity

AI Roundtable: Legal AI Opportunity

Details

Our April session will feature legal AI startup founders Dan Broderick and Jared Jaskot, for a discussion of legal AI opportunity. As a TEDCO Maryland AI Roundtable program, this will be a fully participatory, moderated discussion session.

Dan Broderick is founder and CEO of BlackBoiler (https://www.blackboiler.com/), which applies proprietary deep learning and natural language processing technology for automated contract review. BlackBoiler is based in Arlington and secured $3.2 million in funding last October from investors including a strategic corporate investor, DocuSign.

Jared Jaskot is a Baltimore immigration attorney who created YoTengoBot (https://yotengo.bot/), a chatbot that helps immigration law firms engage with information seekers and in on-boarding clients. The bots speak Spanish and English and integrate with Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp. YoTengoBot won $200,000 in TEDCO seed funding in February.

TEDCO is the Maryland Technology Development Corporation. For more on the AI Roundtable, visit https://www.tedcomd.com/roundtables/artificial-intelligence-roundtable .
