Let's go for a late afternoon hike (and try to beat some of the midday heat) with a ~5-miler at Oregon Ridge. Elevation gain is about 570ft. This will be a "dog-less" hike as it is forecast to be very warm out and I want to push the pace a little bit - probably around 2.75 mph (or a little faster), so please only sign up if you are willing to keep up a good pace throughout the hike. While the terrain has plenty of level areas, there are also a couple decent hills. There will be plenty of roots, rocks, several stream crossings and downed trees to step over so please wear appropriate shoes. There are restrooms in the nature center which is open until 5pm, and a few porta potty's as well.

You MUST bring enough water with you and stay hydrated throughout the hike. We will take a short break at the Ivy Hill Pond but otherwise we will be moving along. Please only join if you are comfortable hiking in heat/humidity and can keep pace for the length of the hike.

Anyone who is interested in grabbing a bite to eat/drink after the hike, there is a large selection of restaurants in Hunt Valley and we can decide where we want to go.

Any questions/concerns, feel free to call or text me 4104875095.
