Rocks SP 4-mile loop/King & Queen seat (dogs welcome)

Please join me for a (sometimes) challenging 4+ mile hike in the beautiful Rocks State Park. We will start at the Rapids Parking Lot and head right up the steep Purple trail (good glute warm-up). We will be hitting up pretty much the whole trail system and make a stop at the top at the King and Queen Seat for a little break and a view. There will be plenty of hills, but also some nice flatter areas. There are some very rocky areas as well so please wear appropriate shoes and bring water. We will take our time on the rocky areas and move along a bit on the flatter/smoother sections. Total distance is just over 4 miles with an elevation of about 900 ft. Not too shabby for this part of Maryland.
