Xinjiang Tianshan - Wusong Ancient Trail Trekking

New trekking route in China launched and organized by Masherbrum for foreigners in 2021! This is the most beautiful trekking route in Xinjiang - Wusong Ancient Trail. The founder of Masherbrum Mr. Donald Tang was one of the team members who successfully completed the Wusun Ancient Trail trekking for the first time in 2008, furthermore leaded Wusong Ancient Trail first international trekking trip in 2021.

The trekking distance is 120km, whole journey is over altitude 2000m+, across 2 mountain passes,total ascending 9700m and descending 9700m.The challenge trekking trip allows enthusiast to explore the most primitive beautiful landscape of Tianshan - a large mountain located in Central Asia, camping at the lakeside of Heaven Lake, having chance to meet Kazakh and Uyghur herders in Tianshan.

Besides trekking , you will visit Urumqi - Xinjiang Capital and Kuche Ancient City -a commercial hub of the Silk Road,Kizil Caves - the earliest major Buddhist cave complex in China . This trip is definitely a tough trekking however you would really be impressed its sceneary and culture.

Xinjiang Wusun Ancient Trail is a shortcut ancient trail that crosses the Tianshan Mountain connecting Yili Valley in north Xinjiang and Aksu in southern Xinjiang,starts from Qiong Kushitai Village,and reaches Heiyingshan Village,with a total length of 120 km.

About Trekking Grade

Wusun ancient trail trekking is 120km distance, have to across mountain passes and cross the river over 15 times . It is classified to the 5 Grade - very tough . The team members must have high altitude trekking experience and strong physical fitness and stamina. Team member only need carries her/his small bag during the trekking, her/his main luggage is carried by the horse.

【REQUIREMENT】

【PAYMENT】
The prepayment 3000CNY should be paid 20 days before DAY 1 for the reservation your place. The remaining payment should be done before the departure of Urumqi. All payments will NOT be refundable after trip starts due to personal reasons.。
