Fall Mushroom Forage at the Lowell-Dracut-Tyngsboro State Forest!

Details
Join us on Saturday Morning for a walk in the amazing Lowell-Dracut-Tyngsboro State Forest. I have found many different kinds of fungi at this location and now is a great time of year to see what we can find!
We will meet 10am at the trailhead next to the parking lot at Summit Elder Care (in the back left corner). CLICK THIS to see the image of the exact meeting and parking location. This is a somewhat "secret" entrance to the forest. I will be right outside the trailhead on the grass in-between the parking location and the trailhead. If you have any questions about the meeting location, please ask beforehand. We will only wait 10 minutes for late commers!
Exact meeting coordinates: 42.64778617932671, -71.3680353219872
-You can plug these coordinates into your GPS and it will bring you to
the exact location
-You can also search for Summit Elder Care in Lowell, MA and use the
address (Summit Elder Care, 1081 Varnum Ave, Lowell, MA 01854) and the GPS image above to find the parking and meeting location
When arriving at this location, you will pull into a building complex called D'Youville, taking the first left turn, and head all the way into the back where there is a large parking lot next to Summit Elder Care, which is closed on Saturday.
I know this woods very well and will take us on a route approx. 2-3 miles walking at a slow pace stopping every so often when we find something cool to comment on or take a picture of. We may venture off the trail a bit so please be prepared with good shoes (there could be some mud). Feel free to bring any foraging supplies (small knife, basket/vegetable bags, field guide).
Bring water, maybe a snack, and any interested friends!
