• Tour and Q&A The DIY Joint Hoboken NJ

    51 Harrison St

Very excited to meet, Priscilla Van Houten, founder & owner of the DIY Joint, https://www.thediyjoint.com/, who took a passion for watching people make stuff on tv and used to not only make her own stuff but teach others in the process. She has built a workshop open to the public (once you take a tool safety class) and has established a community of makers and creators in Hoboken, NJ accessible from NYC and Brooklyn. I hope you can make it.

  • Meadowlands Woodworking Show

    Meadowlands Exposition Center

Lets get together for some fun! This will hopefully be the easiest meetup I plan since I am attending as a guest as well. I am excited to be going for the first time to one of the largest woodworking shows in the area. Entry is $14 at door $12 in advance, but there is a $2.00 coupon online (I'll copy coupon to photos as well). Our meetup is Sunday but this is a 3 day event so if you can't make it you might still be able to attend. Show Hours Friday - 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Saturday - 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Sunday - 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM About The Woodworking Show website: http://www.thewoodworkingshows.com/new-jersey.html The Woodworking Shows are the exclusive consumer trade shows serving woodworkers and woodworking hobbyists across the United States. For the past 30 years, The Woodworking Shows have established a devoted following by providing woodworkers with an outlet for their passion through tools, education and a unique sense of community by hosting hands-on trade shows for woodworkers across the United States. We offer this by having an established and dedicated following of woodworking enthusiasts that count on The Woodworking Shows to bring them tools and supplies needed for any project. By providing free education and a truly unique hands on experience through exhibits and demonstration The Woodworking Shows continue to attract new audience members yearly. We pride ourselves on having an audience of woodworkers that span all skill levels and share the same enthusiasm for the trade.
