Matchmaking Angels for Neurodiverse Adults

Join Matchmaking Angels for Neurodiverse Adults (21+) for an evening of social networking specifically for Family Members and Friends of neurodiverse singles. We will build a networking community among ourselves to help our neurodiverse adults who are looking to make new friends and maybe find that "special someone". This event is for Family and Friends of Neurodiverse Adults who want to help their loved one find community and potential dates.

Matchmaking is an old idea and this group has a new twist. The Family and Friends will make the connections based on their loved ones needs and wants. The adults will have the choice to participate. We will make the introductions, they will decide where to go from there.

There is a huge gap in the supportive systems for neurodiverse adult dating. It is difficult for neurodiverse adults to make friendships and find dates. We aim to close the gap. Our Family members and Friends need a safe, supported and structured environment in which to learn the skills of dating. We, as their Matchmaking Angels, can help them bridge the gap by finding other family and friends to make introductions of new friendships and maybe even dates.

This first meeting will be setting the rules and goals of the Matchmaking Angels Group. We are committed to creating a kind, caring, honest and loving community for this group.
-Permission from the neurodiverse adult must be given verbally
-A one minute video must be taped of the neurodiverse adult about them and their desire to participate. They must tell their three most important qualities in a friend or in a date
-While the Matchmaking Angels will set up activities between ourselves, our loved ones, they will have the right to say "yes" or "no"
-All Meetup activities will be chaperoned by Family and Friends
