Singles Kayaking Trip Clear Creek Winslow

Singles Kayaking float in June 21st 2025 with the Sedona Matchmaker. Matchmaker in Flagstaff and Sedona Arizona.

Registration Deadline is Monday June 16th 2025 or when sold out.
Purchase tickets for males and females separately on the Matchmaker’s website (in order to control numbers of attendees).

Arrive on time.

Cost:$90
Kayak is included with paddles and life vests. Staff will unload the Kayak and set it up for you.

You may bring your own kayak and only pay the Matchmaker’s fee: $50 instead.
You are responsible for unloading your own kayak or paddle board and set it up within a timely manner.

Itinerary:
8h30am check in at McHood Park
9ham launch
We will paddle 3 miles to a beach. We will swim, do lunch. After lunch and more hanging out we will paddle back 3 miles back to the McHood Parking lot.
You are welcome to hangout with each other then head home when you feel ready.
End of trip by 6PM.
Rules will be explained on site.

Location: McHood Park in Winslow (there is a $7 parking fee for each car. Bring a debit/credit card to use at the self serve parking kiosk.

We will return to the parking by 6pm.

What to pack:
-Bring a whistle ($1 at any store) with an adjustable string attached to it. You must strap the whistle on your person.
-Wet bag or Ziplock baggies (phone, sandwiches, for dry clothes etc…)
-A towel
-Small cooler and a bungee strap to strap the cooler to your kayak.
-Drinks and Sandwiches/Lunch for the picnic. Pack plenty of water and hydration/electrolytes.
-Wear/Pack swimsuits, board shorts, sun shirt, etc
-Sunscreen
-Sunglasses
-Hat
-Easily accessed water bottle (Nalgene, stainless steel, regular water bottles etc…
-Bring a positive attitude or do not sign up please. The Matchmaker does not guarantee you will find a match. This is a commitment to you and into getting out more to meet your soulmate. You will increase your cardio endurance, you will get an upper body workout and maybe spark romance with someone special. In addition, you will make new friends. Friendships tend to develop at all Amourdetoi’s and Sedona Matchmaker’s events.

Amourdetoi is not responsible for your belongings and your own safety. Must sign a waiver. You acknowledge that you know how to swim and feel comfortable kayaking 6 miles in a day. This trip is not recommended for new kayakers with little cardio and zero experience padding a creek.
While there is little to no currents on the surface of the water (we will not be paddling against the current), there are underwater currents. I invited you to read laws and regulations for current Arizona watercraft guidelines, rules and laws.
