What we’re about
What is speed dating?
Speed dating is a structured, fast-paced social event where individuals have 5-minute dates with many potential partners.
After each mini-date, participants mark whether they want to see the person again on a scorecard. If two people express mutual interest, the organizers provide their contact information to facilitate further interaction.
How does it work?
- You sign up for the event.
- Meet and greet with the host, explaining the rules.
- Speed dates - mini-dates, each lasting around 5 minutes. You chat with someone, try to get a sense of who they are, and then move on to the next person when the time is up.
- Scorecards: After each mini-date, you jot down if you want to see that person again.
- At the end of the event, the organizers compare everyone's scorecards. If you and someone else both say you’re interested in each other, you get each other’s contact details.
- Some of our events will have a following after-party.
What sets us apart from other speed dating organizers?
On top of regular open, international speed dating events conducted in English, we will also offer:
- Fully matched speed dating - closed speed dating events, where participants are invited based on our proprietary matching system
- Speed dating for representatives of certain hobbies or professions (e.g., speed dating for artists, doctors, or photography passionates)
- Culturally themed speed dating events (e.g., speed dating for Asian participants, speed dating for Muslims, Christians, etc.)
