Tempe Town Lake Photo Walk

***Address Change! The south side of the lake is closed. We are meeting on the north side.Park near the East Lake View Drive parking area on the north side of the lake. From the parking area, walk toward the lake and head to the shoreline near North Shore Beach.
We will gather by the water. Arrive by 10am.***

Join us for a relaxed, guided photo walk around Tempe Town Lake. This casual, beginner-friendly meetup is designed for anyone who wants to practice photography in the real world while walking, shooting, and asking questions along the way.

We’ll move together at an easy pace, stopping at intentional locations to photograph what’s happening around us. The focus is on observation, experimentation, and practical shooting. Questions are encouraged as they come up, with plenty of opportunities to apply ideas immediately.
We’ll work entirely with available light and the environment, concentrating on strong composition, movement, and photographing people naturally in public spaces. The group is intentionally kept small so everyone has room to shoot, ask questions, and stay comfortable.
