Kihei Historic Walking Tour!

Hosted by our very own group member Keith! Join Maui Walking Tours on a guided walk through the history of Kihei. Learn about the Hawaiian community that called this region home, the influence of the US military during WWII, and the tourism boom of the 60s and 70s. Stories shared on this walk were collected first hand through one-on-one meetings with city architects, historians, authors, county officials, cultural advisors, and families that have lived in Kihei for multiple generations. The tour lasts about 75 minutes and starts outside the Kihei Library.

These tours will officially begin being offered to the public on March 18th on the Maui Walking Tours website, so you will get to experience the tour as a sneak peek!
