Robert Wintner is the entrepreneur behind Snorkel Bob’s. From a ten by ten beginning in 1986, Snorkel Bob’s is now Hawaii’s biggest reef outfitter with stores on all islands and Hawaii’s only designer, engineer and manufacturer of masks, fins and snorkels built to world-class specifications.

Robert began the Snorkel Bob Foundation (http://www.amazon.com/Some-Fishes-Have-Known-Odyssey/dp/1616081406) in response to Hawaii reefs and reef species in need of defense. He also serves on the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society Board of Directors, also focused on marine wildlife conservation.

As an author, Robert brings insight to ocean adventure and reef salvation. His fifteen books include a Pulitzer nomination, and he calls his recent novel, Flame Angels (Iguana Books, Toronto, 2012) his best yet. His latest reef photo book is Neptune Speaks (Skyhorse, NY, 2012).

Mark has a degree in economics and is a fellow of CPA Australia.

Mark is president of the Hawaii Organic Farming Association, a board member of the Vegetarian Society of Hawai’i, a founding member of Label It Hawai’i, which promotes GMO labeling, and a volunteer mediator for Mediation Center of the Pacific.
