Clean Code Development & Your workspace

Details
Dear craftsmen,
End of year (and all the party events) is closing in. Nonetheless, I would like to inform you about the topics for our upcoming monthly meetup.
Latest MSCC updates
Since founding this community back in May 2013 it has been a great journey so far. Our weekly and of course our monthly meetups have been great fun and serious exchange of experience. This month we are going to pass the 6-month mark...
Clean Code Developer
Mastering the craft of software isn't an easy task after all and takes a good amount of time, self-discipline and most of all practice. Even though that we already spoke about the various grades - Black, Red and Orange - of Clean Code Development, it would be great to have everyone's feedback about the principles and practices that we have covered so far.
Your workspace (desk, OS, apps, tools, etc)
This is hopefully going to be an interactive practice with lots of fun... Please, show us your daily workspace - take a picture and upload it here (or send it via mail to JoKi). Let's talk about the daily applications, tools and utilities that help you to manage your studies, your work tasks and so on...
Events
What happened during the BenchGames (JoKi's review) and hopefully other craftsmen's experience. What are the upcoming events here in Mauritius? So far, we have the following ones in chronological order:
• Virtual launch of Microsoft Visual Studio (19.11.2013)
• InfoTech (21. - 24.11.2013)
• Linuxfest (25.11.2013)
• Code Challenge (TAB ~ Feb 2014)
• Innovation Day(s) (4.4.2014)
• Developers Conference (TBA ~ June 2014)
Networking and job/project opportunities
Of course, there is always room for chats and exchange on latest topics in IT. So, please feel free to bring along your ideas, your technical problems, your experience, and anything IT-related that you would to talk and exchange with others.
Kind regards, JoKi
