.NET Core 1.0

Microsoft recently announced and open sourced ASP.NET Core 1.0 and .NET Core 1.0. This enables software developers to write web and desktop applications in C# to run them across multiple platforms, ie. Windows, Mac OSX and Linux.

We are going to have a half-day meeting with various speakers talking about the changes and enhancement of the recent .NET framework and how to get it run on your favourite OS.
