This group is for anyone who wants to develop their leadership potential, deepen their influence, and connect with others on the same journey of personal growth — all through the timeless principles of John C. Maxwell’s classic book, Developing the Leader Within You.

### Week 4 – The Foundation of Leadership: Character

Date: Tuesday, December 2 at 6:30PM Central Time Zone
This week, we’ll explore what John Maxwell calls the true foundation of leadership: character. Titles, talent, and charisma may open doors, but it’s integrity that keeps them open. Character is what gives credibility to influence — it’s who we are when no one is watching, and it shapes how others trust and follow us. Together, we’ll reflect on how character develops over time, how it’s tested in difficult moments, and how strong inner values create lasting impact.

Discussion prompts will include:

• How do you define character, and what shapes it most in your life?
• What daily choices strengthen or weaken your integrity?
• How does a leader’s character influence the culture of their team or organization?

This week is about building from the inside out — learning that leadership begins not with what we do, but with who we are.

What to Expect
📘 Participants are responsible for purchasing their own copy of Developing the Leader Within You by John C. Maxwell.
📝 A Mastermind Participant Guide will be provided to help structure our discussions.
📅 We’ll meet weekly on Tuesdays starting November 11, following this schedule:

• Nov 11 – Introductions & Overview
• Nov 18 – The Definition of Leadership: Influence
• Nov 25 – The Key to Leadership: Priorities
• Dec 2 – The Foundation of Leadership: Character
• Dec 9 – The Ultimate Test of Leadership: Creating Positive Change
• Dec 16 – The Quickest Way to Gain Leadership: Problem-Solving

(We will plan to regroup after the holidays and finish the remaining 5 chapters.)

Come prepared to share your takeaways — a favorite quote, a story that stood out, or one way you’ll apply the lesson to your life. And if you don’t finish the chapter, come anyway! Growth happens in community, not perfection.

This first meeting is free of charge, and a facilitator fee of $10 per class will be charged for the remaining courses. All proceeds from this mastermind event will go toward devastating Hurricane Melissa relief in Jamaica. Please share this event with your friends!
