### Week 6 – The Quickest Way to Gain Leadership: Problem Solving

This week, we’ll explore one of the clearest marks of leadership maturity: the ability to face problems with clarity and confidence. John Maxwell teaches that leaders are not defined by the absence of problems, but by how they respond to them. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow influence, strengthen trust, and move closer to the vision. Together, we’ll look at how great leaders approach obstacles — not with avoidance or panic, but with curiosity, perspective, and creativity. We’ll discuss practical steps for identifying the real issue behind the surface symptoms and for turning problems into progress.

Discussion prompts will include:

• How do you typically respond when a problem arises — reactively or strategically?
• What’s one challenge in your current season that could become a growth opportunity?
• How can you model calm, solution-focused leadership for those around you?

This week is about shifting from frustration to empowerment — learning that every problem we face is an invitation to lead.

📅 We’ll meet weekly on Tuesdays starting November 11, following this schedule:

• Dec 2 – The Foundation of Leadership: Character
• Dec 9 – The Ultimate Test of Leadership: Creating Positive Change
• Dec 16 – The Quickest Way to Gain Leadership: Problem-Solving

(We will plan to regroup after the holidays and finish the remaining 5 chapters.)

Come prepared to share your takeaways — a favorite quote, a story that stood out, or one way you’ll apply the lesson to your life. And if you don’t finish the chapter, come anyway! Growth happens in community, not perfection.

This first meeting is free of charge, and a facilitator fee of $10 per class will be charged for the remaining courses. All proceeds from this mastermind event will go toward devastating Hurricane Melissa relief in Jamaica. Please share this event with your friends!
