Welcome y’all!
Come hang out in the Luigi’s back patio and rip some games of Azul, Harmonies, and Cascadia! Feel free to order Pizza (Crime scene is delicious!) and Drinks from the bar! I think for this first meetup we will keep it kind of light but I definitely want to get into some Wingspan and Spirit Island here in the near future (and might bring them anyways depending on how many people RSVP).
Azul is a simple (but punishing) strategic tile drafting game where you try to get collect different combos and patterns. VERY simple VERY fun! 2-4 player.
Cascadia is a tile drafting game where you are creating landscapes and terrains for certain species and gaining points in various ways. Classic Modern Game. 1-4 players
Harmonies is a tile drafting game where you are also creating landscapes and environments for certain species. This game is comparable to Cascadia and a lot of people try to pick a favorite between the two. Harmonies is a little more condensed and 3d with similar but semi different scoring methods (and amazing solo options). 1-4 players.
All 3 of these games are simple to learn and we can learn in person. You’re also encouraged to learn previously if you want to help speed up the set up phase, but no pressure. They are also easily accessible online (Azul and Harmonies are on BoardGameArena, Cascadia has its own free platform online). See y’all Tuesday!
