Adult Trail Trekkers: Lake James State Park

Adult Trail Trekkers are venturing offsite today to explore Lake James State Park located 1 hour and 40 minutes from McDowell Nature Preserve in Nebo, NC. Lake James State Park is located in the scenic foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Many of the trails border this beautiful lake. This moderate hike will be between 4-7 miles. Transportation, a snack, and a naturalist guide are included. Pre-registration required at ATT: Lake James State Park.
