Bird Walk at Quartz Trailhead

Join us on this easy walk over a rocky trail to see our year-round bird residents. We may see some migrants passing through. Possible sightings include phainopepla, American kestrel, gilded flicker, curve-billed thrasher, Abert’s towhee, or various warblers. Bring your binoculars.
The Quartz Trailhead parking lot is located at McDowell Mountain Ranch Rd & 104th St. There is no water available at this trailhead, please bring plenty with you! No bathrooms at trailhead. Skill level: Easy. Time: ~2 hours.
