About us
Northern Virginia Argentine Tango and Viennese Waltz brings dancers of all levels of experience together for camps and classes and occasional outings for two of NOVA's most exquisite social dances: Argentine Tango and Viennese Waltz. While very distinct, these dances share attributes of being fun, rhythmic, distinguished, and being held at wonderful venues throughout the DC area. Also, there is a great deal to learn from the cross over of the two rhythms, such as when dancing the Tango Waltz (Vals), which uses similar rhythms to the Viennese Waltz in the movements of tango.
We specialize in teaching groups in intensive 7 evening courses in Tango and Viennese Waltz, and following up with Sunday and Wednesday classes. You need not have any previous dance experience or partner. We have parking and are metro accessible on the Silver Line McLean stop. We are part of the DanceSport Endurance (DSE) dancers and fitness enthusiasts!
