Mini booklets - Red Thread Circle

Who doesn't like tiny booklets?
Have you made Zines?
Using 1 piece of paper, with a central slit, these fold into a 'cover' and several pages, and are perfect for a little collage session, or a planning booklet!
A piece of Junk Mail (ads!), a calendar page, or even piece of notebook paper is a great size for a small booklet, which can be written in directly or painted and collaged.

Your zine could hold:

• A poetry booklet
• A mini art journal
• Class notes
• A process page - write what you want to compost on the 'inside,' paint over' then flip and fold to "grow some lilies"
• A booklet of symbols you use in a painting

Pour a cuppa, gather your supplies and Red thread, and join us for a simple project & sisterhood.

Possible supplies:
Paper, junkmail, watercolor paper, (8.5x11 or larger) art journal, smashbook or altered boardbook.
Markers, Watercolor, gouache, acrylic, pens and/or colored pencils. A couple of Paintbrushes. Other art and craft materials, glue, collage items, scissors ...
