After a great run in 2024 and an even better start to 2025 with our Security Edition at MONY Group, we’re excited to reveal that the next event is officially locked in.

This time, we’re diving into Performance Testing — a vital but often overlooked piece of the testing puzzle 🧩

As always, we’re not just doing another meetup. Expect hands-on activities. A break from the usual format. And a space built for genuine connection & networking.

🔍 What’s happening?

We’re rolling out a three-part experience:

1) Theorycrafting

Kick things off by dissecting an architecture diagram to identify potential bottlenecks and design a performance test plan to challenge them.

2) Hands-On Practical (LAPTOPS NEEDED)

Get stuck in with two interactive sessions:

• A front-end performance follow-along
• A mini load test creation using K6 (with other tool options available if you prefer)

3) Performance Pub Quiz

It’s summer, so we’re bringing the fun. Think 3-4 quiz rounds covering performance testing fundamentals... with a surprise music round to close.

We’re keeping a few things under wraps — but if you’ve been before, you’ll know to expect something a little different.
