Data & AI Meetup

Our next Data & AI Meetup brings Northern Ireland’s tech community together to share practical experiences, discuss developments in AI and make new connections.

We’ll hear from four speakers across three sessions:

Rory Kelly, Senior Software Engineer at Beam Benefits - Getting more from AI
Rory will explore engineering excellence in an AI-driven world, including how developers can make better use of AI tools, reduce token consumption and improve efficiency.

Richard Thompson, Director in Technology Consulting at EY, and Anjali Tiwari, EY - AI in action
Richard and Anjali will share examples of AI being applied to complex challenges, from optimising infrastructure operations to significantly reducing the cost of AI-powered data analysis.

Jack Sleator, Co-Founder of Templi - The shift towards open-weight AI models
Jack will explore why businesses are considering open-weight models and how cost, customisation and model evaluation are shaping AI adoption.

There’ll also be time to ask questions, share experiences and connect with others working across Data & AI.

Whether you’re using AI in your role or interested in learning more, you’re welcome to join us.
