19:00-19:30 - Using private link technology to secure your organisations data within the Azure cloud, Jonathan D'Aloia
Ensuring that your organisations data is secured to the maximum is always a requirement for DevSecOp teams and using Private Endpoints (powered by Private Link technology) gold plates the security across the modern Data Platform in Azure Private endpoints are talked about more and more amongst organisations however seeing the configuration done correctly is rarity and understanding around their purpose can sometimes be complicated, therefore as part of this session I will describe what Private Link technology is and describe their purpose and how they add that extra layer of security for your data.
I'll then go on to demonstrate the various use cases for Private Endpoints, how to configure correctly, the considerations that need to be taken into account and some example architectures that can be used when implementing across modern Data-Platforms.
I will also show how Private Endpoints can be deployed and implemented through Infrastructure as code to enable high scalability and consistency when rolled out across modern Data Platforms

Many of us feel that overwhelming burden of I'm not good enough, I'm faking it, I'm not worthy. The good news is that in reality it probably means exactly the opposite and it's your impression not others.
During the session we will cover, What Imposter Syndrome is, Why it exists, How to recognise it, How to support others who are experiencing it and How to navigate your way past it. We will share experiences, tools, tips and tricks prepare for it, and deal with it.
