2024 Civic Engagement Community Facilitator Training

MCS hereby announces the 2024 Civic Engagement Community Facilitator Training, virtually, for up to 20 participants, Friday, June 28, 2024, 1:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Participants are expected to attend the entire 6-hour training. Those who complete the training will receive a certificate. A facilitator who is just starting out can earn $100 - $200 an hour for events of up to 20 participants. This training is free of charge. Those who complete this training will be expected to volunteer 8 hours of facilitation services to MCS within 12 months of the training. Through these volunteer hours, participants will have the opportunity to strengthen their facilitation skills and gain confidence in leading facilitations moving forward.
The training will be presented by Leslie King of Coaching and Consulting, LLC. Both MCS and Coaching Consulting, LLC may serve as a resource for referrals for group facilitation assignments.
