C&O Canal: Riley’s Lock 6-8:30 pm

I'm posting this for Puppy Dave. He leads several scenic bike rides with the Mid-Atlantic Outdoors group, usually on the C&O Canal.

This is a timed ride - you ride at your own pace for 60 minutes out and then return.

We will ride with Ride Allegheny Riders, not necessary to keep up with them, but they’ll be there in case we need help with our bikes. This ride is leave no one behind. Then we’ll grab a bite to eat and a drink afterwards, and share our experiences.
This is by far the most beautiful part of the canal. Come out and enjoy. Join us for a social bike ride 8, 16 or 26 miles. Typically we bike for 50 minutes in one direction then turn around and come back so this makes it easy for individuals that want to be at a slower pace since we will all end up back at the starting point together this is a no drop ride other words we won’t leave you behind.
If we would like, we can grab a bite to eat afterwards at a local restaurant probably in the Kentlands.
Chronic No-Showers or Serial Sign-uppers need not to sign up for this event as you will be moved to not going.
