Universal Rent Control Campaign Meeting

Join us for the first public Metro DC DSA meeting of a campaign for universal rent control in the District of Columbia. Washington, DC boasts the nation’s strongest laws to protect tenants and keep rents affordable, including for rent control. However, loopholes in DC’s rent control law leave tenants exposed to massive rent hikes.

That is why many tenants and organizations, including Metro DC DSA, are coming together to form a coalition for common sense rent control reform. In this meeting, we will provide an overview of why we need rent control reform and how Metro DC DSA can push for reforms that protect tenants and affordable housing.
