Community Gardening: Fill The Beds!

Our Community Gardening group is working hard to get a growing space set up in DC! Due to elevated levels of lead in the soil, we've built some raised beds in our space so we can safely grow edible food. Now we just need to fill them.

We're looking for newspaper, leaves, grass clippings, vegetable scraps, coffee grounds, the works -- anything you can gather this week will be hugely helpful. Then we'll be working to get everything put into the beds so we can get some fall crops in. We hope to see you there!
