MDI is an international organization spanning groups from coast to coast in North America. Additionally, several members meet via video conference worldwide.
The Division here in Calgary is called Head Smashed In (HSI). We meet at our teams weekly around a fire. Once a month we all come together as a division. Location is generally Edworthy Park. Besides supporting each other we create and live the vision we want for ourselves...We have FUN! This group is open to all Men 18 and over.

Men, this is a retreat for you!
This is a getaway for just one weekend, Nov 1st to 3rd , 2024, that has the potential to change your life for the better.
Men need purpose, and this will get you in touch with your purpose and so much more. particularly
This is particularly important if you are facing challenges in your life of any kind. We men face career changes many times in our lives and martial challenges; some may be recently married or divorced, some are going through a mid-life crisis, and some might be now empty nesters or unsure about what's next while entering retirement. Many men these days feel lost; some even have suicidal thoughts. A man can trudge along with these thoughts, doubts, fears and uncertainty and allow his suffering to continue, or a man can seek a new perspective, which is something he will certainly get from attending this retreat.
This weekend is important for ALL men to experience at least once in their life. You can attend at any age 19 to 99. It's a weekend developed and delivered by men for men.
Promises
Legacy Discovery is based on the collective “Wisdom of the Men,” including your contribution based on personal experience. It is about being a man in relationship with other men and deepening your connection with the men in your life.
This will be a challenging, intimate and revealing experience, one that you will not forget. It is designed to put you in touch with what it is to be a man so that you live your life powerfully with confidence and integrity and with these tools achieve your true purpose in life.

• Begin to create a mission statement for your life.
• Learn how to create the discipline for you to be successful.

• empowered, fulfilling life.
• Learn how to communicate what you mean more clearly, and take ownership of your opinions.
• Have fun by just being a man among men.
• Become more aware of people and experience them more honestly.
• Connect to the real relationship you have or had with your father.
• Work through some of the habits that impede your ability to create the results you want in your life.
• Gain a deeper awareness of the role women play in your life.
• Gain an understanding of who you are in the various relationships in your life.
• Gain a deeper awareness of your relationship to money and the role it plays in your life

Who is putting this event on?
A: Mentor Discover Inspire. We are a not-for-profit means team organization with members throughout the world. We have teams that meet weekly, either in person or via Zoom, and we put on events like this once a year to showcase the best of what we offer.
Many of our members who have taking the retreat come back as volunteers to guide men and thus pay it forward.
