What we’re about
The goal of Frederick LGBTQ+ is to create a safe environment for the LGBTQ+ community -- youth, young adult, adults, seniors, and more -- here in the Frederick and surrounding area. This site is a place where people come together, have fun, bond, and develop a support system. The aim of this group is to create a network of LGBTQ+ people regardless of age, sexual orientation, or gender identity. While everyone is welcome to any event, to help connect people, we will strive to include in the title of each event a description of which elements of our community might be most interested. If the entire community would be interested, we'll note this as well.
This is also a safe, non-judgmental group for like-minded individuals to meet others in the LGBTQ+ community. We are involved with a wide range of activities such as community events, dinners, board games, hikes, camping, karaoke, art galleries, movies, wine tasting, comedy shows, skiing, laser tag, frisbee, etc. This is your community! Interested in getting a group together? Suggest it, and we’ll make it happen!
