Fall Tour: “Tiffany, The Gilded Age Genius”
In synch with HBO’s new season of the “Gilded Age” in this specially curated private tour, you will discover the exquisite inspirations, originality, and methods of Louis Comfort Tiffany’s work. Tiffany was considered the greatest designer of the Gilded Age and beyond and became known world-wide. He was an inventor across stained glass windows, mosaics, lamps, vases, painting, jewelry, furniture, and architecture. As an artistic visionary, a branding and marketing genius, a leader of the most talented craftspeople in the world and egalitarian employer, he rose to the heights of his art and still influences our aesthetic sensibilities today. Come join us at the Met Museum which has the most comprehensive collection of Tiffany’s work in any museum.
