Cause for Optimism!

We hear it everywhere – in the grocery store, at the pharmacy, in the park, on TV and social media, at home, with friends – the sky IS falling!!Everywhere, growing numbers seem to be losing hope, trust, and faith in what the future holds. This is where the teachings of the Baha’i Faith come in! Grounded in the highest realities for this time of transition – based on the most fundamental of truths: spiritual, material, and universal – the Teachings offer hope, an understanding of the all-encompassing realities that provide the entire human race with clear, creative, and constructive direction as, individually and collectively, we walk the path of our own lives along with the lives of our families, communities, and society. This week we will reflect upon certain paragraphs from a statement written in 1985 by the international governing body of the Faith, the Baha’i Universal House of Justice, to the peoples of the world, entitled The Promise of World Peace. In the name of peace, oneness, and unity, please know that all views and all people – of every race, age, gender, ethnicity, culture, social class, and nationality – are welcome here, in this space…
