Every day we see more chaos as the world seems to be crumbling around us … We hear of innocent people being arrested, troops being sent in to create “order”, politicians using rhetoric to divide us, and rising autocracy around the world …

The present social order continues to disintegrate, becoming less and less able to meet the needs of humanity. At the same time, more are becoming open and receptive to participating in the creation of a new social order, one that will gradually, over time, allow for the whole of humanity to live in true peace and prosperity. What is the basis for this progress, how will this revolution continue to advance, and how can I contribute to this process of social transformation?

These are some of the questions that we will explore based upon the Writings of the Baha’i Faith, the most recent of the world’s independent religions. The millions worldwide who are members of this Faith, along with millions more of its friends, work side by side to transform this
world from its present state of conflict, violence, and division toward unity, the basis for all social progress. In keeping with this principle of oneness, all views and all people — of every race, culture, age, class, ethnicity, nationality, and gender — are welcome…

The first remedy … is to guide the people aright, so that they will turn themselves unto God, and listen to His counsellings, and go forth with hearing ears and seeing eyes… then, in accordance with the Teachings, they must be led to acquire the characteristics and the behaviour of the Concourse on high, and encouraged to seek out all the bounties of the Abha Realm. They must cleanse their hearts from even the slightest trace of hatred and spite, and they must set about being truthful and honest, conciliatory and loving to all humankind -- so that East and West will, even as two lovers, hold each other close; that hatred and hostility will perish from the earth, and universal peace be firmly rooted in their place. ~ Baha’i Writings
