Thy Name is my healing, O my God, and remembrance of Thee is my remedy. Nearness to Thee is my hope, and love for Thee is my companion. Thy mercy to me is my healing and my succor in both this world and the world to come. Thou, verily, art the All-Bountiful, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise. ~ Baha'u'llah

Last week we explored the nature of healing and what true health means, with a focus on how to bring about a more healthy world. This week we will continue the discussion, with a focus on our own personal healing. What causes disease and how can we avoid or overcome it? Is there a spiritual component? What is the relationship between physician and spiritual healing?

Join us as we explore these questions and more. This discussion will be guided by the Writings of the Baha’i Faith.. We welcome the respectful sharing of all views. The event is free and open to all regardless of background or belief.

The Prophets of God should be regarded as physicians whose task is to foster the well-being of the world and its peoples, that, through the spirit of oneness, they may heal the sickness of a divided humanity. ~ Baha'u'llah

In this meetup discussion, let’s consult on how we can contribute to our own health as well as that of the world. Baha’is are working through-out the world to advance the whole of humankind toward unity and justice.
People of all backgrounds, religions, and beliefs are welcome!
