License to Parent (lunch & discussion)
Details
Meaningful Discussions events take place in 11 countries and this will be our 50th event in Vancouver. Here are the Food For Thought videos for this topic:
http://www.meaningfuldiscussions.org/license-to-parent.html
Should people be required to have a license to be parents?
What kinds of qualifications would be involved with such a license?
How can we balance the right to procreate with right to protect society?
This event will provide the opportunity for a thoughtful, respectful and engaging discussion with Food For Thought videos, discussion facilitators at each table and discussion questions provided. So if you're looking for open-minded, friendly and intelligent people then you've come to the right place!
PUBLIC TRANSIT INFO: Steamworks is only 2 blocks from Waterfront Station
VALIDATED PARKING INFO: Steamworks provides a validated parking discount for the lot at Granville and Cordova in the Go Park section on the 3rd level. If you present your parking pass to hostess upstairs when you leave then you'll only have to pay $2.50 when you leave the lot (as long as you leave the lot by 6pm).
