🌾 During our Harvest Day, we’ll also be offering a special Essential Oils & Healing Herbs Class to help us prepare for the fall and winter seasons.
💧 What are essential oils?
Essential oils are concentrated plant extracts. Plants are made of structural materials and phytochemicals—compounds that not only help plants thrive but also support human health and wellness.
It takes a tremendous amount of plant material to make just a little essential oil, which is why some are so valuable:
- 🌸 About 250 pounds of lavender flowers make just 1 pound of lavender essential oil.
- 🌹 About 5,000 pounds of rose petals or lemon balm make 1 pound of rose or lemon balm essential oil.
Because purity and safety matter so much, I choose to use and share doTERRA oils, so we know they are safe and ethically sourced.
🍵 In addition, we’ll be featuring herbs grown and harvested right here on the land, which we use in teas and other remedies.
This class will be a hands-on way to learn how to use herbs and oils to support health, immunity, and well-being through the colder months.
🍂✨ Free Maker Event: Autumn Essential Oil Diffuser Blends ✨🍂
Join us during Community Harvest Day for a special hands-on essential oil maker session! Together, we’ll explore the scents of fall and learn how to create safe, seasonal diffuser blends you can enjoy at home.
🌿 What We’ll Do:
- Learn what essential oils are and how they’re made.
- Mix and bottle your own autumn-inspired diffuser blend.
- Take home a sample and the recipe so you can recreate it later.
💧 Safety First:
Always research the oils you choose to use. Essential oils are powerful plant extracts, and each has specific safety considerations and contraindications. Start small with your blends to make sure you love the scent before scaling up.
