10/2/25 Afternoon: Forest Park Hike/Ruck and Social at Boathouse

Ron King - organizer (difficulty 1 out of 5). Join us for a trek in Forest Park STL followed by a social hour (for those interested). Good fellowship, fresh air, and a fun outside activity.

Location: Boathouse
Parking: Grand Drive Google directions
· Meeting time:

• 5:30 PM: Start hike (we try to leave on time so you might want to arrive a few minutes early)
• 6:30 PM: (optional) social hour at Forest Park Boathouse (Feel free to join the social even if you cannot make the hike)

· Hike length: 3 or so miles
· Hiking duration: Shoot for about one hour.
· Surface: We expect to hike on blacktop or dirt paths (also game day call)
· Dress: Layers and good walking shoes
· Food and drink: Bring some water and snacks
· Rest rooms: Restroom status uncertain, but we will make efforts to find
· Parking: Should be plenty of free street parking on Government Drive
· Go/No go plans: We plan to hike rain or shine or cold or hot
