### The Science of Happiness
We are always seeking happiness; we search for happiness in people, places, and activities. While these things can bring us temporary enjoyment or distract us from our problems, it doesn’t last.
Buddha taught that reliable sources of happiness can’t be found ‘out there’, because happiness is a state of mind and if we want to be truly happy we need to learn how to positively change our mind. When we apply this wonderful inner science to our own minds, through our own experiments, we will conclude that we can maintain authentic happiness and joy, greatly improve our own life, and positively influence those around us. Each week we will learn a meditation that is a proven cause of happiness; just give it a try.
