Sunday Morning Meditation

The instructors are fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Wearing masks is optional.

What to expect: Classes are held in a studio. There is ample parking near the entrance to Suite 503A. Wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to remove your shoes. You will have the option to sit on a cushion on the floor, or a chair. We will learn several different meditation techniques suitable for daily practice. The instructors will give background information about the history of meditation practice, as well as its evolution during modern times. There will be a question and answer period. The techniques and approach to practice come from American Buddhism, a modern, non-theistic interpretation of various Buddhist traditions and other teachings. There is no charge for the class, however, a donation to help defray the cost of studio rental is appreciated.
