• What we'll do Mindfulness Meditation for Stress Reduction Do you want to learn to meditate? Do you want to deepen your current meditation practice? Do you want to learn how to better navigate the ups and downs of life? If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions, this class is for you! In this 4-week class, we will learn meditation and mindfulness practices, so we can live healthier, happier and more creative lives. Tuesdays 6-8pm Jan 16th, Jan 23rd, Jan 30th, Feb 6th Retreat Day: Saturday, Feb 3rd 8:30am-noon Cost: $275 includes class workbook, book: "True Refuge" by Tara Brach, and a flash drive with a set of guided meditations. Are you interested in meditation? Do you want to meet others with similar interests? The Orlando Meditation Meetup is for you! If you have never meditated before, this is a resource to help you get started. And if you are a regular meditator, the easy access to varied group meditations will help you expand your practice. There are many styles of meditation, including mindfulness (such as the Buddhist Vipassana and Zen traditions), concentration (such as raja yoga, or modern approaches that use sound, light, or other means of inducing and supporting a sustained focus), visualization (such as guided meditations), and mantra meditation.
