Usui Reiki Level 1 Certification Course

This Reiki course is for the complete beginner or for those certified in Western Reiki systems who would like to learn Reiki from the traditional Japanese perspective.

Usui Reiki Ryoho is a non-modernized, traditional Japanese form of Reiki that strives to practice Reiki as it was historically taught at the turn of the 19th century in Japan, by Usui Mikao, the founder of Reiki. The system places a strong focus on the personal development and spirituality of the practitioner.

Students will learn about the “Five Elements” of Reiki as appropriate for Shoden level 1:
✨Developing spiritual and mental focus
✨Energy techniques and meditations
✨Hands on healing for self, friends and family
✨Mantras
✨Reiju/Attunements

At completion of the course, each student will receive a Shoden Level 1 certificate. Students will also receive a Shoden Level 1 Participant Manual (72pages) published by the International House of Reiki.
(Crystal healing instruction or information on the Eastern Hindu chakra system are separate classes and will not be covered in this course.)

Please bring a snack or light lunch to have during class break. It will be short & not long enough to leave to go pick up food and come back before class starts again. We have complimentary tea & coffee. Small fridge and microwave for students to use.

About the Instructor
Elizabeth Johnson has been studying and practicing energy healing for 25 years. She has certifications in both Western and traditional Japanese Reiki. It is in the traditional Japanese form of Usui Reiki Ryoho, that Elizabeth’s true passion is found. She received her Master Teacher certification from the “International House of Reiki” through graduate teacher Tammy Britton, RMT. Over the years, Elizabeth has volunteered her Reiki services to non-profits, veteran’s programs, churches, and low-income family programs. In 2021, Elizabeth joined Alignment Healing Center in Rancho Cucamonga, California. As Spiritual Director at Alignment, Elizabeth gave reiki treatments as well as designed and managed the reiki center. She is also an active member of the International Association of Reiki Practitioners. Elizabeth now has her own private practice in Upland, California.
