Kailasa Ohio Temple 22nd Anniversary Celebrations

Kailasa Ohio Temple celebrates it's 22nd anniversary a celebration on Sun April 13, 2025. This day is also celebrated as the Tamil and Vedic New Year.

We kick off the grand celebrations with seeking blessings from Guru & Ganesha before performing a series of auspicious worship rituals for the divinities that profoundly influence our lives and existence. The Presiding Deities of the temple Nityanandeshwara Paramashiva & Nithyanandeshwari Paramashivashakti will be invoked in all the 5 elements: earth (through the deities), wind (through mantra chanting), fire (multiple fire worship rituals), water (the water in the kalashas (sacred water pots)) and space (the inner space of the presiding priest). All attendees will enjoy the partaking of and the experience of the auspicious transformative energy that will permeate the temple environs on this blessed day. Celebrations will resume in the evening with livestream of the Tamil New Year Celebrations from MahaKailasa and AdiKailasa.
